World-renowned violinist Itzhak Perlman said he canceled his Wednesday performance with the North Carolina Symphony after he was told he would not be able to include a personal statement opposing the states new law limiting antidiscrimination policies for LGBT people in the event program.
In an interview with the Associated Press on Tuesday, Perlman said he will not perform in North Carolina until the law is reversed.
If Im invited, I will come once the laws repealed. But as long as this thing is there, I have to take a stand, Perlman said.

Well at least we know where his line in the sand is.
The most important topic of trannies in public bathrooms.
At least he picked the most important cause out there today. /s

Damn right-— in the annals of history this support for perversion will end up in the bonfire and ash heap of burnt trash.

I think North Carolina would prefer Charlie Daniels anyway. Perlman is way too artsy fartsy.

"...Itzhak Perlman not playing North Carolina concert..."

He apparently could not sell sufficient concert tickets, so he presented that same boring, predictable, and shopworn excuse. Yawn. Adios, Itzhak.

He’s a totally overrated violinist, unless maudlin, weepy, syrupy, fiddle-mewling with too much vibrato is your thing.
