Could lowering sugar consumption while fighting cancer be effective?
Purely anecdotal, but I have two friends that are cancer survivors and spoke about the correlation between sugar and cancer. Both have become leaner people that ditched sugary products and the simple carb life.
I would think so. Sugar I am sure alters your immune system. Sugar is probably the worst thing for our bodies the worst.
I spend a half day per week in a wound care clinic. Over 60 % are type II Adult onset diabetes. Of those, more than 50% already have an amputation. The prognosis of which leaves 50% them dead within 4 years. Worse than breast cancer, and this is a preventable disease.
When one gets their blood drawn for labs, they tell you to fast after midnight. That’s nonsense. You should not eat anything for 16 hours and THEN get you labs. If you blood sugar is out of whack after 16 hours it’s a pretty good indication that you have heart disease and other things going on.
Secondly, look at the obesity in America, it’s obscene, totally obscene.
Don’t get me wrong, we all get that craving for a piece of chocolate or dessert or a donut, you suffer for it.
Soda is the worst of all. I read somewhere that a can of coke has 12 tsps. of sugar in it? I can’t believe that’s true.
