Welsh’s suppositions on the Fair Play for Cuba Committee not being a Castro support front (actually it was a Castro-created front operation for the US) has been demolished by a series of hearings held by the Senate Internal Security Subcommittee, Sen. Judiciary Committee, in the early 1960’s.
They demonstrated beyond any question that the FPFCC was created by Castro as a propaganda front in the US. The list of those hearings might be found at www.keywiki.org, possibly under a search term(s) as Center for Cuban Studies, FPFCC, Lyle Stuart, Castro Lobby or Tricontinental Conference/News Service.
If anyone wants a list of those hearings, let me know and I’ll publish them at this story’s comments section next week.
In fact, I’ll go check keywiki.org right now and see if I can find them for anyone who is interested in seeing them.
