Hopefully he’s from the Christian part of Lebanon.
With a name like Michel Temer, I assume he’s Christian. The Lebanese Christians migrated far and wide, and had a reputation for being good businessmen.
Most likely is, at that age.
All the Lebanese I have known are Christians (Boston area)
.
According to Wikipedia, his parents were Maronite Christians.
MIGRANTS means they GO BACK.
SO MANY words are getting abused, these days.
“ACCESS TO housing” = you get for free, but others pay
ETC ETC ETC ETC
GETTING SICK OF IT
“President Dilma Rousseff on trial for breaking budgetary laws.”
Hey, maybe we could do that with Obama, Ryan, and McConnell? They have spent a lot more money than Dilma.
If he is from the Christian side of Lebanon....how did this happen?
Thought about that...the irony is staggering. Brazil 1, US 0.
Checks can be directed to the new overseas account - all bribes to the previous president are now null and void and must be paid again.
Officially, Brazil’s Vice President is now its Acting President, not President. Its President is in office, but suspended and so unable to discharge the powers of her office. The suspension ends when the trial ends, at which point either the President is removed from office (making the Vice President the new President) or acquittal (allowing her to resume discharging the Presidential powers).
Then we would get Acting President John Kerry.
He is a Christian....mussiescum do not use the name Michel.
Maronite. We have them here in NC. Lebanese Christians are all over South America.
I wish him the best. Brazil is a basket case no matter what!
My ex wife is from this same stock outside Rio in Teresopolis
Huge Arab Christian community
More Lebanese
Almost all Christians
In Brasil than anywhere
Twice the number in Lebanon
Very good @ business. Carlos Slim in Mexico. Not a few Cubans who migrated to Miami when Castro took over. Close knit community, originally a minority within a minority. Quite strong minded.
