Can a state be sued for allowing the sale of alcohol? Can a gun manufacturer be sued if a gun that they made is used in a crime? Can an open carry state be sued if a gun is used in a crime?

Okay, one at a time. It is not against federal law to sell or consume alcohol. Strike One.

It is not against federal law to sell or possess a gun. Strike two.

Regardless of open carry state, the use of a gun for its intended purposes is not against federal law. Strike three, you're out.

Here’s a strike for you.

You can’t stop it no matter what you do or say.

Somethings are beyond your control.

That is all.
