Trump is nice to those who are nice to him. Probably there was absolutely no reason for him to dislike the Clintons because they helped him smooth over zoning issues and the like. Should Trump have been more aware of them politically? Of course! But his main concern was his business. That is something that one either accepts about him or rejects. And if Rush rejects Trump, he needs to come out and say it. I don’t like this crap he’s pulling mocking supporters of the Republican nominee.

That is what is outrageous. He has been talking for months, (before I quit listening to him on a regular basis) exploring the reasons why Trump supporters support Trump. He will talk all around it. He has to do that to keep up his narrative. He can’t admit that we support Trump because of his conservative stands on the issues, most of which Trump brought up and owns. No, he cannot bring those up and the only time he does touch on any of those issues is to claim that Trump is lying about it all. Limbaugh may not be a snake, but he certainly does a good impression of one.

He was overly invested in Cruz - the real liar in the campaign. It reminded me how some of us felt in 2012 when some of our candidates fell by the wayside. But we pulled up our socks and moved on. Looks like Limbaugh, his brother, and Levin refuse to. So, they’ll be left behind along with Cruz.

If you think he sounds like them, then you're not really listening. Or perhaps you only catching and reacting to bits and pieces of what he says.

Sure, Rush, Levin and Beck are of a conservative vein. And perhaps that's where you hear similarities. But Rush, IHMO, is more pragmatic than Levin and Beck. He doesn't fly off the handle that easily, nor does he Bible-thump, nor rubs his face in Cheetos crumbs. He is, after all, the self-proclaimed "Mayor of Realville."
