I don’t know much of anything about these games, except that they are very popular. Is it still mostly young guys who play them, or have the original fans now grown up into 40 y/o’s who still play regularly?

Fallout and Elder Scrolls have very large older followings.

Check youtube for “Let’s Play” videos. These will give you an idea of how these games are played and what their appeal is.

Mix. I’m late thirties. Quite a few women are starting to play as well. I’d say they’re most popular with college age due to them having the most free time around classes.

I’ve been playing on different platforms since I was about 5.

I’m late 50’s and have played Skyrim on PC and XBOX360. I haven’t gotten into the Fallout4 world though.

I will hit 70 this year (Dec), and I play Fallout 4 regularly on the PC.

I also played FO3 before that.

I can't effectively manipulate the keyboard enough to keep from getting killed off..... sooooo I use God Mode, and play for the exploration/settlement building part of the game.

I really like the MODs stuff. Lots of creative Modders out there.

This Fallout was the first one of the franchise that I played and it was terrific. Overwhelmingly large at some points (ok, many points) but a terrific game nonetheless.
