I bought a win10 surface 3. The camera app wouldn’t work and I had to do a system reinstall, which was no big deal. Also I’ve had to reset IE11, because YouTube suddenly quit working. And forget using my fingers so scroll. Use the stylus. Other than that it’s settling down. I did buy the extended warrantee and drop/spill/tech support. Also I upgraded my 2009 Toshiba without a hitch over a fresh win7 install.
I have done from scratch installs and upgrades and neither have been fun — do you have this drive and that and then search the Internet if something doesn't work. Then there is general stability — newer OSs tend to be buggy.
