Competitive sport is bound by rules; otherwise it’s Gladiators in the Arena. Any sport, such as NBA Basketball, which gives its own rules the finger, has justly earned utter contempt. Which rules am I referring to? walking w/the ball, palming the ball, double dribbling, charging, holding, parking in the 3 second lane; to name a few. Go to a sports bar an ask to see a basketball match. Then listen to the bartender say; “Sorry pal, we don’t watch that crap here”!
Steve Curry is a good guy. Good for him. So what?

Which bar is that because I’ve never been to any where the bartender won’t put on a basketball game.

I quit watching years ago but the little I've seen of it recently is a vast improvement.

Used to be pound it in low to somebody like Shaq who would commit seventeen uncalled offensive fouls on the way to a dunk (or two missed free throws).

But now, with the European influence in the game, parts of it are played "inside out" for the three pointer and fast breaks just as often end up with threes as they lay ups.

Much better and more interesting to watch and guys like Curry are as fun as heck to see.
