I’m not an Animal Rights advocate at all, but I do believe that any sentient being capable suffering pain and fear, should be spared from pain and fear as much as possible. Even if we are in the process of legitimately hunting and harvesting them for meat: you should not do that in a way that recklessly imposes terrified suffrring.

Those who torture animals deliberately, can themselves hardly be deemed human.

Those who would do this, need —— I don’t know -—need to be isolated unarmed, off on an island by themselves, where they can harm neither man or beast.

I was taught to hunt as a kid, like most ranch kids-I was also taught never, ever to inflict suffering on an animal. I love cats and dogs, and if anyone did something that cruel to one of mine, they’d find themselves being dragged down the road behind my 4x4...
