These schools (NJIT and neighboring Rutgers) really stress security to potential students; I suspect they lose a lot of potential students because of the ferals on the prowl. I couldn’t imagine being there when the sun goes down; in the daylight it is a bit safer (and you can use the convoy system to deter the wolfpacks).

You could say the same about the University of Southern California in Los Angeles (USC).
A fine school, in a terrible neighborhood.
