Vision - put peppers in the pot. I have two big ones in the courtyard what I have early chili, picante jalapeno, pimento, and habanero in. We have a third that has California Wonder green peppers going. As long as they're deep enough, they don't crowd each other, and they don't get root-bound, they'll do good. Here's a little Pinterest project for you: about a year and a half ago, my wife got ahold of a wooden crate. About six feet long, 32" deep, and 32" wide. It was originally used to ship Volkswagen axles in. Looked like new. Very stout, and it was free. Bet you could find one somewhere up there, and they'd be happy to have it out of the way. Anyway, I told her I was going to use it for firewood if she didn't come up with a use for it because it was taking up space in the garage, so lo and behold, she came up with a good one on Pinterest. We painted it forest green, took heavy-duty plastic liner, cut and stapled it in with the electric staple gun, drilled holes in the bottom for drainage, then tapped in plastic screw anchors to protect the wood. Then we filled it with a mix of leaf/pine needle compost we had going for a few years, along with bags of topsoil, dragged it onto the patio, and we planted Sweet 100 cherry tomatoes (the kind that hang like clusters of grapes), BushSteak tomatoes, carnival blend Sweet Peppers (red, green, yellow, purple, white bell), and Lisbon white bunching onions. Now,
there is a vegetable planter. And I saved the lid - it's going to make a nice workbench for my garage when I frame that puppy out. We also got about 500 sq. ft. tilled today to put in cukes, squash, corn, and green beans.
Now, we gotta figure out how to keep the birds and squirrels from stealing our baby peaches.........

Nice, that box is huge. How do you refresh the soil in there? I'm told tomatoes need that.

Keep cycling the compost through. Compost is decaying organic matter, yes? Just check it seasonally. And keep the soil within the pH range that all the plants like. It's not an exact science when you have multiple types of vegetables in, but as long as it's within the tolerance range of the plants you germinate, they can all play nice in the same sandbox. Another little trick: our compost pile is teeming with nice fat earthworms. They love compost. And earthworms leave very rich worm scat as they munch their way through, as well as aerate the soil from below. Gives the roots room to breathe and grow. It's a good agricultural symbiotic relationship in a planter that size. Plus, it's a handy source of live bait when I go fish the pier at the county lake. LOL

You will get it. Just remember: God will not drop it into your lap. God wants a fighter. He will have your back. You just carry His armor, and it will be done. I learned it the hard way until I realized that anything is possible with His grace. You'll get that for which you fight for in life. He is a shield for us. No trumpets. No fanfare. It just..........
is.
