We each have writing habits/tendencies and they can be seen. For example, misusing their/there or it's/its. My particular habit is writing 'ya'll' instead of 'y'all'. Lots of small things show who is really writing/typing.

You would be able to identify the difference between Tolkien and Hemingway, wouldn’t you? It’s the way they write; their voice, in writing, is as natural as everyone’s speaking voice.

And mine is using to many.......well.......dots.
