That's my point. Can you imagine the revenue and jobs Puerto Rico would generate if they had totally secure beachfront retirement communities with all the amenities in a secure area? Those living on pensions of $25,000 or more would still be in US territory and get the benefits they have with their special status. That retirement money being spent in PR would be game-changing.
Puerto Rico needs to clean up the rampant crime on their island. Then, they might get more tourism, ex-pats, and businesses.

To ignore PR’s real problems and give them the convenient excuse of “racism” is a travesty. They’ll continue to ignore the real problems - like Obama - and let the country go to hell, taking no blame for crappy, socialist leadership.
We need to tell them to get their $h/+ together before we send them another dime.
