well she’s a woman and was in congress, let governor and now Governor. she meets the criteria to balance the ticket...or many will say that
she is certainly qualified but has run a deficit in OK and OK has education problems from what I’m reading and people are pissed
From your analysis, she does have an excellent resume—but apparently not a great track record as far as results are concerned. Perhaps, as you point out, her popularity at home is prompting her to seek outside opportunities. Not sure right off about her status for re-election in Oklahoma.
BTW, I really think Marco Rubio checks most of the boxes Trump needs. He needs a teammate to deliver Florida (his second home state) as well as someone to appeal to Latinos/Hispanics. I know Rubio is weak on immigration but maybe he can adapt enough so as to echo Trump’s platform on this central issue. Rubio is a darling of the establishment and is charismatic. I just hope he doesn’t have any more meltdowns; he only has to survive the one vice presidential debate!!! Rubio ran strong in Virginia’s D.C. suburbs and could help in that battleground swing state. Finally, he’ll be an asset in places like Arizona and California.
BTW, my first choice is California Congressman Duncan Hunter, JR. I like his speaking manner and presence on camera.
