That’s been debunked. Cruz’s parents hadn’t lived in Canada long enough to become Canadian citizens when he was born in 1970.

They were Canadian citizens and allowed to vote. Why would the Cruz’s lie to the officials and claim to be citizens, just to vote?
If the were merely foreign aliens of Cuba and the USA residing in Canada, why lie?
They were allowed to vote after an interview at their home whereby they stated they were Canadian citizens, permanent residents at their address, and of legal age to vote. They were then certified by the provincial elections supervisor and added to the voting rolls. That was there legal process to vote through at least 1984, if not through the 90’s.
It is unclear how long the Cruz’s had lived in Calgary. He claimed 8 years. Rafael could have expedited his citizenship application with refugee status which takes 12-18 months. She was a legal resident or citizen of England for nearly six years and could have applied with that status and also been given citizenship in less than two years.

Again, Ted and Eleanor have ever denied her Canadian citizenship. Instead, the campaign staffers made the same claim as you, “she wasn’t there long enough.” That is not a direct answer and is likely why she has never been interviewed.
