That’s not the biblical view. The biblical view is that we all deserve hell. We’ve all committed cosmic treason against the thrice holy God.
“Surely goodness and mercy will follow him all the days of his [after] life...” /s
Hopefully he repented and asked Christ to redeem him. Otherwise there is the Great White Throne Judgment where he will be judged by his works. And all those aborted children now with new bodies will watch him thrown in the lake of fire for his works where no doubt the minions of hell will surgically abort him over and over for eternity.
Hate to disagree, but the Lord said so: EVERYONE deserves Hell. The good Lord said, "unless ye repent, ye also will perish". Outside his grace, every single person deserves the wages of sin: spiritual death.
I suspect that wherever he is at the moment, the thermostat is set on “deep fat fry”.
You suppose that the manglers of the original autographa of the book of Genesis 3:9 had it right. That a special comma was never there... "Adam where are you"..which by God's nature and to harmonize really reads "Adam, where are you." Totally different interpretation. God neither shies away from sin or is disgusted that we have commited it. If you take the view that charlatan popes, fire and brimstone hucksters and you average biblical illiterate scholar takes then God is an angry, perpetually abusive Father, with a thirst for revenge and inflicting pain on us.
In reality it's we who pushed away from him, our own shame. No bridge need to be built with Christ, there was never a gulf. No scripture supports the view that we are across a great divide, a chasm only bridged by Christ. Christ never left us, God never separated. See Jesus agony on the cross, he was teaching us this with his "Father why have you forsaken me". Its human nature to feel abandoned, feel lonely, but sometimes that is not reality. We crave fellowship and feel out of sorts when we feel deprived of it. A loving Father never abandons his children, drops them off on the side of the road in the middle of nowhere and expects them to find their way back.
Its our nature, our own pride to think we are so good, that only the other entity had it wrong, in this case God was the one who left. A treatise on the real scriptural reason Christ came is another debate and discussion. It was not to be our cosmic public defender against a real pissed off God.
It was not a sudden death, apparently: he had time to ponder and prepare. I hope he repented his horrifying crimes before he died. Otherwise, the consequences are very, very bad.
We disagree. If God isn’t angry with sin, why was His son offerred as a propitiatory sacrifice?
“No one deserves hell, not even him.”
Huh? You really believe that no one in the history of the world has deserved to go to Hell?
Enjoy hell.
The 9th circle of hell awaits...
Huh?
EVERYONE DESERVES HELL. Ever actually read the Bible?
Enjoy hell, old boy!
His wife, Susan, was/is an Episcopalian priestess. About 1986, when a pro-life Episcopalian, ChristyAnne Collins, stood up at the appropriate moment at the “ordination” to object on the grounds that an abortionist’s wife was not of good Christian character, she was taken into the sacristy and confronted by the then-bishop of Washington. His opening words were, “You little shit! Who do you think you are?” After an extremely brief discussion, he proceeded with the ordination.
