I wish her well. However, as I became the mother of a
Down Syndrome baby when I was just 24; there’s no way I
would risk it again. At 69, it’s moot anyway. - Our
neighbor had a Downs child when she was nearing 40.
Forty is really too old to risk it; and 50 is really
asking for trouble. Joey Feek had a Downs baby when she
was nearing 40; and now Joey has passed away. Life can
be hard a lot of times. I guess we just have to buck up
and deal with it.
