>>I know you are right, but I just could never get my “muscle memory” to work it out right.

I had to do a lot of dry-fire practice in front of the TV to get that muscle memory for the Glock.

I kinda figured you for a long-time 1911 guy. That’s why I was surprised that you went to Sig. I hate the SA trigger pull on their guns. I hate the DA pull too, but the SA pull just seems sloppy.

I had one early, and then through the Army, so it’s always been my choice. I haven’t been able to find the pistol I really want.

1911 style
Dual side safety
Double stack 15-18 rounds
9mm
night sights, but not fancy, catch your clothing target sights.
reasonable price

Any suggestions.

(What ever happened to ParaOrdinance?)

Also SAO.

I’m not a competitive target shooter. I just want to be able to make the “hostage shot”. I.e. The wife is being held by a knife-wielding perp at ten meters, using her body as a shield.

His head is viable.

I just want to be 100% sure I can take that “hostage shot” 100%, not 99%, the perp 100% DRT, and I never felt that way about my Glocks.

Have a good evening.
