A few years ago a Peregrine Falcon grabbed a Yorkie out of a back yard not far from me.

It happens. The Chihuahua is on the lunch menu as well.

Up in AK, folks string wire across their backyards to deter eagles from swooping in and grabbing their pet lap dog.
