A desperate mom was filmed as she dropped to her knees when a cruise ship left her and her husband behind while their three children were on board.
The incident, which occurred on April 21, was caught on camera by passengers on board the Norwegian Breakaway cruise ship in the Bahamas.
The 4,000-passenger ship was dockside preparing to depart for New York when the womans husband noticed she was missing.
He was driven away in a buggy to look for her, leaving their three children on board.
Minutes later, the ships horn blew as it sailed off. The couple tried racing back to the ship but it was too late.

This has nothing to do with cruise ships but it relates. I met a woman from South America. She told me the story of her family. Very large family in middle Europe, maybe Poland, decided in about 1890 to move to the US. They traveled to the nearest seaport but there were too many to get on one ship.
They split up and because they didn’t speak the language I suppose, one ship went to NY and one ship went to South America. It was over 75 years before the 2 groups found each other. Imagine the anguish!
it’s boquet!
” It was over 75 years before the 2 groups found each other. Imagine the anguish!”
By then the one group was running a small South American country!
Miss movement? Never, never. My Husband always made it in hours before the regular crew. He hammered a young sailor with an excuse that his wife didn’t make it home the night before to give him a ride to the boat in the morning.
You can see the woman carrying a big shopping bag in the video.
Yep, and there's a frequently used word for the phenomenon:

Boy, while my dad had to contend with my mother not being as good of a “Navy Wife” as should could have been (she could be very vocally aggressive about certain issues...:) but that young sailor had a wife who took being a bad Navy wife to a different level!!!!!!!!
Irresponsible woman. No one else’s fault but hers.

There were too many instances over the years to count of what a “bad Navy wife” entailed.
Took 27 posts to find what I was thinking. There is no way I would get off that boat with my kids left onboard.
