Me, too. But, with Obama deciding to free criminals who were supposed to be in prison for 40 years, we don’t yet have the power to change things. I wish I knew the answer about how to get back to the safer streets and the innocence and freedoms of the childhood we remember.
Yep, and none of us had cell phones either. Then again, if something happened to us a few blocks from home, most of the neighbors knew who our parents were and would reach out to them.
I recently advised my mountain biking group, when they were discussing politics, to skip that phase and go directly to forming small leaderless cells for "direct action", and they laughed me off the thread.
