Ted doesn't tithe. So what ? The last time I checked, tithing doesn't make you a Christian! It's not a determiner of whether you are good or bad! To give because we're prompted by compulsion or duty is not God's heart.

Each of you should give what you have decided in your heart to give, not reluctantly or under compulsion, for God loves a cheerful giver. 2 Cor 9:7

Have you read Acts and what Jesus’s own disciples required to operate the church?
