The point is, the tweet, the link, the video, the comments are all designed to insult and malign Cruz like the million other unfounded, unsubstantiated accusations that have been hurled at him for months on a conservative forum.
The video is of Cruz handing someone what appear to be a piece of paper and some money. Also in frame were people holding cameras and a book by Cruz which looked as if the holder was wanting his autograph.
I have no idea why Cruz might hand someone cash. Maybe he was handing back a donation and telling him he should donate online. Maybe it was a staffer getting his lunch. Maybe he lost a bet. Maybe he owed the guy money.
We do not even know who the person was to whom he gave the money.
This is only a conspiracy and only newsworthy to CRAZY people. By posting it as if it was somehow cogent or relevant puts you squarely in that category.
Do you really honestly think a Harvard lawyer who argued cases before the Supreme Court, who knows his every move is being scrutinized, just openly committed a felony? If you are convinced Cruz is crooked, surely you think he is at least a more competent crook than that.
