Both will be missed by music fans. But it is a little sad when two legends pass on so close together that the more famous one gets the most attention.
Musicians sure are dropping like the proverbial flies this year, oy!

Heard of him. Never knew him as a rock guitar hero but
more of a blues player.

I wasn't a Prince fan, but I did like Lonnie Mack's stuff, though I came to the table late.

Lonnie's version of "Oreo Cookie Blues" with SRV and Brother Bill (and all those lovely resophonic guitar licks) remains one of my favorite guily pleasures.

(As do Oreo cookies.)
