Many of the life boats were never lowered because the people didn’t believe the ship was sinking!

Wow, I did not know that. What a horrible tragedy the sinking of the Titanic was. I guess the real-life story isn’t the same as the movie? Of course, it isn’t - but, I loved both the original and the remake.

I misspoke on this, the lifeboats were lowered, but many weren’t filled to capacity. Many more could have been saved.
