Lol...No wonder the Eagles have never won a SB.
A guy, carrying his dog, walks into a bar in Cleveland on a Sunday in the fall, just before the Browns’ game. The bartender says,”Hey, pal, no dogs allowed in here.” The guy replies, “Please, could you make an exception? My TV is broken and my dog and I are huge Browns fans.”
The bartender lets them stay. The Browns receive the opening kickoff and manage to drive to their opponents’ 25 yard line before they misfire on a third and long. They bring out their kicker and he puts a field goal on the board.
The dog goes wild, jumping on the bar and giving everyone a big high five. The bartender, impressed, smiles and asks the guy what the dog does when Cleveland scores a touchdown.
“I don’t know,” he replies. “I’ve only had him for two years.”
as someone upthread mentioned, the Elliot rumor was when they had the eighth pick, I agree with that, they will most likely take carson or wentz. personally, I like laremy tunsil - good to go at lt for next ten years.
This would seem to cement RGIII as the starter, maybe the Browns will pick up a QB with the 32nd pick (Lynch, Cook, Hackenburg) or maybe Cardale Jones in the third round.
Well, the Browns pretty much gutted the old front office and put in a brand new one. It appears the owner is letting the front office make all the moves now.
Old Mr. 85 yards through the heart of the south Ezekiel Elliott. A great well rounded running back talent but in the pass happy NFL, running backs are not a high draft priority and seem to have a short shelf life.
In my wildest dreams, I never thought I’d ever see a team do a Minnesota/Dallas redux (Herschel Walker) type trade...ever.
Poor Philly fans.
The sixers were 10-72 this year
The Phillies had the worst record in MLB last year
And the Eagles are on the bad end of a trade to the Browns
And the Flyers are one game away from being swept...sigh.
rumor is eagles want Ezekiel Elliot.
stud running back out of ohio state.
Elliot is the top rated running back and worthy of being a top 8 pick because of his all-around skills, speed and endurance. In the pros you will probably see him catch the ball more out of the backfield than what he did at OSU.
Actually the Eagles got the magic beans. 2 1sts a 2nd a 3rd and a 4th to get a 1st and a 4th is selling the farm, especially when you’re just moving up 6 spots this year.
But of course by giving up that much depth of talent you make it a lot harder for him to be a franchise QB. They’ve got holes to fill everywhere, and now they don’t have the picks to fill them. Big trade ups are always a mistake.
At least Villanova won the College Basketball title.
It was more a comment on the history of how the browns have been run than the current move.
Wow, that w-l for the sixers didn’t look real, now *that* is a lousy season. :’o
