Harold’s is still around and growing. They recently opened a place in Hammond, Indiana.
I last went to the one in Madison, Wisconsin. Unfortunately, "Harold" doesn't exercise close supervision of the franchisees. The quality of the chicken was lacking at the Madison operation.

The quality of the chicken was lacking at the Madison operation.I haven't been to one in years. My wife wasn't impressed with the one in downtown Chicago, and she's a chicken expert.
