I am so excited to share with you what America has learned over the past few months.

And it has nothing to do with a politician tonight winning his home state.

That's his opening?

What a pathetic ass.

He called Trump a “ politician” winning his home state?
I don’t know if that is a compliment or an insult.
Oh wait, it’s Lyin Ted
It’s an insult

That’s his opening, and it’s a good one. It recognizes the Trump win without a personal attack. I hope both sides will put an end to the destructive rhetoric.

Cruz and Trump are both imperfect but they agree far more than 80% of the time (see my tagline from Ronald Reagan). They should be friends and allies, and we should treat both of them as such. Perhaps Cruz, by talking ideas with no attacks at all, is making a push toward the unity that we will need in November.

Trump is secure in his message, his person, his funding and his vision. Cruz is mooning around, trying to sound like he too has his own secure orbit, but he doesn't. He orbits Trump. He should have tried to be Trump's VP, but he and/or his donors got greedy. He's only able to reflect the stuff that is on the surface facing him as he makes Trump the center of his thinking.
