Student Wears KKK Costume for Class Presentation-I Can’t Believe Someone Would Actually Put That On

A high school student wearing a Ku Klux Klan costume in the classroom of a Wisconsin high school has sparked outrage online. A classmate at Westosha Central High School took the photo of the student, who wore the KKK outfit while making a presentation about crime in the 1920s.

"Once I heard it - I just can`t believe someone would actually put that on," said Brett Sandberg, an alumnus of the school.

That was the reaction from many as the image circulated on social media Monday.

"I would have said something - like maybe, instead of putting it on, I would have shown it not on myself," said senior Camille Tracy.

Principal Lisa Albrecht posted a statement on the school's Facebook page, which has since been taken down.

Not everyone in the community thinks an apology is warranted in this case.

"He`s not wearing it to recess. He`s wearing it for educational purposes. If that`s what his presentation was and he wanted to wear it, yeah he should," said Jack Harris, who lives near the school.

Others said there is a much better way to get your classmates' attention - one that won't end up on Twitter.

"I think it should have been shown instead of worn," said Sandberg.

Our country has lost their f’cking mind. We have to push back at every opportunity and with extreme force. Never agree with anything the establishment hold true. Rotate their thoughts 180 degrees with no room for compromise.

In this case praise the student for having ingenuity, understanding and acceptance of other thoughts and throw their hate and narrow minded attitude right back at them. I Am so tired of playing for a tie. It’s time to win via extermination of their concepts.

Just imagine a student or teacher trying to give the class a close-up look at Hitler giving his Nuremberg speech IN LEITERHOSEN AND MATTERHORN HAT INSTEAD OF A SWASTIKA ARMBAND and brownshirt outfit.

It just isn’t the same.

The #Chalkening, and now historic realism for educational purposes. Life is so traumatic! I need to calm myself in a safe space for a while. Does anyone have Play-Doh?
