Crew members working on “Transparent” are reportedly upset with gender-neutral bathrooms on set — and too afraid to speak up.
Toilets on the set of the critically acclaimed Amazon hit about a transgender woman’s journey are open to male, female and transgender occupants, reports TMZ, making some uncomfortable with the prospect of running into a different gender in the restroom.
But fear of appearing intolerant on the Emmy-winning series celebrated for its inclusiveness has apparently kept disgruntled employees from complaining.
The bathrooms contain at least two stalls and two urinals, photos obtained by the gossip site show. They have been gender-neutral for more than a year, according to a September 2014 USA Today interview with “Transparent” creator Jill Soloway.
The report comes as some states — notably North Carolina — have come under fire for anti-LGBT laws preventing transgender men and women from using restrooms based on their gender identity.

Rather ironic we are enduring the Clarence Thomas movie at a time when men can invade a woman’s restroom. That used to be considered “sexual harassment”.
I’m in favor of organizing groups of conservative men who go to the various state capitols to hang out in the womens bathrooms of the legislatures.

The Left has won such crushing victories that any further “victories” are showing them to be totally out of their minds. The beautiful thing is now the constituency that will be hurt the most by this insanity are women. I’m putting on the popcorn and enjoying the show. The Republican candidates would be smart to take advantage and show how it’s the Democrats are the ones waging a war on women’s safety by giving opportunities to perverts and rapists, and not wanting women to be able to defend themselves with a gun.

In a recent visit to a Genesis radiology unit, I noticed that the two bathrooms are unisex now. Rolls eyes.
Women and children beware.
Aside from the obvious problem, when are women going to complain about having to share the facilities with a group of 300 pound fella’s who have consumed BBQ or hot wings, onions, peppers, beer, and cheese and are dropping bombs in the bathroom?
Just pinch a loaf right on Amazon’s President’s desk. They want the world as a crap hole? Give it to them.
Women don’ like men using their bathrooms for pragmatic reasons, e.e., they don’t lift the toilet seat when peeing.
You reap what you sow.....
Just put a freakin’ toilet in a little room with a door on it. Repeat as needed. End this stupidity.
Only a bigoted woman would take offense at the sight of another woman’s penis, amirite???
The obvious solution is toilets set up so that each individual has privacy, with provision for handicapped with an assistant.
But it’s not about privacy. It’s about forcing us to accept the new world view that gender is assigned at birth, and gender is a continuum.
