The "grassroots" includes all those unacknowledged, unacclaimed people who show up to work phone banks, stuff envelopes, attend party meetings, etc.. You know, all the stuff with which the rest of us -- including me -- couldn't be bothered. Those are the people who elect the delegates for state GOP organizations, who in turn elect the RNC, who in turn elected Priebus.
Trump's basically accused all those people of being crooked/on the take as well or at best, stupid enough to be supporting the "GOP-E"/Uniparty.
Let's see if the Trumpers who have been unwilling to do any of that stuff are going to spend days and days manning phone banks, doing mailers, etc., because I don't think a lot of those people he's insulted are going to be too thrilled about working to help him.
Oh, and I'd also point out that as much as you might like to pretend that the only people who care about his insults directed at other candidates are the other candidates themselves, I'd suggest to you that Republicans who supported someone other than Trump also may not be very appreciative of it either.
But hey, you don't need any of us, right? We're all just part of the problem, and you guys are enough to sweep Trump into office with a 50 state sweep just on your own, because you're the "Silent Majority."

Yup, had a little "discussion" with one such STRUMPET, the other day,it was the straw that broke this camel's back. Because I dared to question some BS about Cruz I was attacked as a Cruz supporter, I'm not, and as someone who shouldn't be posting on FR because obviously I don't contribute. Bottom line I thanked him for being the defining factor in my decision to sit out the election, something I haven't done in over forty years. I have had it with the mindless hate.
