I find it difficult to believe that anyone in DC has the "good of the nation" at heart....I've felt like this for a loooong time.

If that is true, then it won't make a damn bit of difference who wins the Presidential election, because Congress and courts will still not be interested in the good of the nation.

So there's no point in even voting for the office.

IF that's true, that is.

That's right. I believe that what ails this nation is far beyond a political solution. For a while I thought that Trump would be our last shot at one, but I've since disabused myself of even that possibility.

As Americans we hold to the belief that free elections will solve our problems, but as Samuel L. Clemens said, "If voting made any difference, they wouldn't let us do it." Besides, with all the fraud that goes on, (not talking primaries here...that's another story) how "free" are our elections? I mean, look at it. The left wing of the Uni-Party keeps screaming about voter disenfranchisement and the "right" wing of the Uni-Party keeps screaming voter fraud.

We are being played by both.
