Do these yahoos even know that the law only applies to government offices and educational facilities? That private businesses can have their restrooms configured however they want?
Did all those celebs boycotting NC have plans cross-dress and go from city hall to city hall demanding to use the restroom that was not a match for their sex?
North Carolina sure dodged the bullet this time. With some of the cancellations that have taken place, I’ll bet promoters of county fairs and summer food festivals all over the state are afraid they will be without entertainment.
This is what liberals do when they get a win, like with gay marriage. They don’t say “hey we won let’s call it a day” NO. They move the goalposts and go after the next issue.
Yesterday it was gay marriage. Today its putting men in women’s bathrooms. What will they want next when they win this one?
Beastiality? Incest? Pedophilia?
This is back firing on the left more than anything. Boycotting over not allowing men in using women’s bathrooms. The public is not for this at all.
The more the far-left brings this up, the worse it will become for them.
I think Dave Musataine of Megadeth, too.
I met him and he signed my Les Paul years ago. He’s an honorary Freeper, if you get my drift..
Yes, they did, and back in the 80’s I was a fan as a kid and teenager. They’ve been trying to recapture that fame for the last 20 years though. Sad really. They’re has-beens, just like every other entertainer that has spoken out against the people of North Carolina.
Funny how that is, isn’t it? It’s almost like they’re trying to draw attention to their fading selves to, I dunno, try to bring out the feather boa set and get a ticket sale or three.
It should backfire. Most people see this as a common sense law, and see those who oppose as spouting taking points instead of taking a principled stance. Of course, in this case, there can be no truly principled stance.
“Whats a Duran Duran?:
a seniors home for senile, has-beens
One side wants trannies to be able to use whichever bathroom floats their boat, and everyone else does not want to see adult men dressed as women entering the same bathroom as those used by little girls.
Because most of the bands are pole smoking libtards. That is why I have no care for them!! Go back to that Muslim loving UK and maybe just maybe get their heads cut off!!!
“Went to their show tonight and was underwhelmed. Their encore they came out infront of the gay flag and educated us on how bigoted our political leaders are. Really took a bad show and made it worse. How come everyone in the country or the world knows more about this than we do?”
Alright, do you dig their music? Enough to go see them live?
I am having a disconnect here about Freepers and music taste. This would be weird if they were conservative stalwarts or whatever.
Freegards
North Carolina discriminates against perverts!
Who would have guessed that so many celebrities are so dedicated to the proposition that 40-year-old men belong in girls’ showers?
Whats a Duran Duran?
A band who based their name on the character who tried to kill BARBARELLA with his organ. No joke. That's the killer sheet music in his hand. She short circuited the thing.
First saw it when I was a little kid and my parents went to the drive-in. Any time a naughty part would come up they'd say "Kids, don't look!"
All these has-been from the Eighties can go to hell.
