I’ve heard cumin has a lot of those properties.
I alternate on my soup recipes. One week I'll make really spicy soup and the next week I'll tone it down a tiny bit. Last week, I used ground beef and chorizo as my meat...with lots of cumin and cayenne.
Today I am using pork finger ribs for meat and to make my stock.
I am on a low carb diet so instead of bread, pasta, potatoes, and rice (which I really love), I spurge on spices.
Life without starches is somewhat empty, but I am thin and healthy.
