Heh - same here. I've read so many books that I've had a couple of occasions where I've started a new one only to remember -- hey, I read this before....

I once decided to run down the list of Hugo/Nebula Award winners and read them all. I did skip a few, but generally, it was a good reading plan. Lots of good stuff that I wouldn't have otherwise read.

I recently tried rereading Asimov's Foundation Trilogy and...it just didn't hold up. Story is good, but is writing just wasn't.

As soon as I found Jack Vance, though....Really good stuff even if I did need to cheat with an occasional dictionary lookup. I call any man a liar who didn't!
