Elections: If you listen to the leading candidates in both political parties these days, youd think everything in this country is rigged. Its a terrible message that simply excuses irresponsibility.

Mark Twain was an original on the sentiment, I believe. (They wouldn’t let the people vote if it made a difference)
Trump is an exception, and it shows in the reaction of the press, the parties, etc. The GOP thought his candidacy would flame out, that he was no risk to the system of only allowing approved candidates to have a snowball’s chance in hell.
Trump is simply too wealthy to have been ignored by a large section of the population. Wealth does make a difference. The fact is, right or wrong, no one, no matter who they are or how grand their ideas, no one, without $$$$$$ can make it in the political arena on a national level. A “poor” candidate may make a small dent, but a “poor” candidate will get very little in terms of a mass movement going for them.
They are not wrong either.
There are about 10 million folks in this country that live in a completely different system than you and I (and the BLM and OWS and TP folks) do. They have gotten a pretty sweet deal for the last 30 years. The rest of us? Not so much...
The proof is in a hermetically sealed mayonnaise jar stored in a vault inside Funk & Wagnalls.
Hello???
Anybody home??
OF COURSE it’s rigged—you dumbass!
(GOTTA get rid of this here interweb thingy, though.)
Not everything is rigged. Just the things with a lot of money riding on them - like major sports events and the financial markets.
Everything is rigged...... even the Trump / Kelley fight.
Another post to pimp your blog.....DISGUSTING!!!!
Have you no shame?
But they are ignorant of who is doing the rigging and who is pulling their strings. They are at the first stage of awareness - they know something is wrong, they just don't know what it is or how it is done.
IBD show look up the word Oligarchy
We actually have one party, aided by the media, pursuing the interests of the Chamber of Commerce and select progressive pressure groups. The Chamber of Commerce has to throw a bone to the special interests groups, once in a while, because these dopes are the foot soldiers for the Chamber of Commerce.
One primary election, namely Colorado, was what brought this to a head. Frankly, I was pissed by how TN selected at large delegates as all of us voted for both regular and at large delegates. It was easy to count the damn votes, but; the RNC did not like the results as Trump won most at large as they declared who they supported on the damn ballot and we (voters) voted. This editor and his since- x therefore all conclusion is a typical journalist who are charter members of the far left and the media in all forms is comprised of the biggest complainers and excuse makers in the America.
One of my basic expectations of government is competence. Define an objective, understand the process by which that objective is achieved, and know the rules that govern that process. Develop a strategy within the process and rules that achieves your objective and execute it.
Trump does not seem to have this basic capability. The fact that he is whining about it is even worse.
Since Obama took over this country has become more and more Government clowns running everything. They decide who gets X medical care and who does not.
I knew I got it from somewhere! Thanks.
Don’t confuse competence with corruption. People can be competent at their corruption.
Cruz is corrupt from the day he made the decision to join the corrupt.
I doubt Ted would ever have the competence to acheive what Trump has.
His campaign was dead until he allowed the corrupt Bush team to take over.
The article uses the words “free market”. There are no markets. Everything is rigged.
It is rigged. On both sides of the aisle.
If you’re part of the ruling class that must be alarming, as the spectre of pitchforks and hot lead surely cannot be far behind.
And it’s even worse if it’s true, right?
Um hm.
Colorado didn’t change its rules to deny Trump. They changed their rules August 21, 2015.
