I’ve never understood why depressed people would stop taking their meds.

My mother told us that she wanted to feel again.

How sad is that?

Been there. Focus your love on your Mother.

I took those meds and it removes you from being a human.

Pray for her...she bears a terrible burden...but there is a wonderful treasure in Christ for those of us who suffer.

That’s exactly what happens. The oddball in the “Grizzly Man” movie stopped taking his meds (he was bi-polar), and in probably the only rational thought he expressed he stopped them because he felt that highs and lows (which are compressed by medication to keep a more even keel) were part of being human, and he had no interest in living with neither of them. Unfortunately, his troubled mind ended up paying the ultimate price (as did his girlfriend).
