Apple Watch survey in the US on April 5 among more then 2,578 adults. A total of 197, or 8 percent, of those polled said they own the watch. Survey asked those owners what they used them for. — PING!

So telling time is not the most used feature?

A friend of mine bought a Hublot watch for close to $20K. It stopped working after three months. He took it back to the jeweler, who sent it to Switzerland for repair. Three months later he got it back. It works.

The Apple watch is a far better deal - I keep teasing him.

When I saw the watch at $299 last visit to the Apple Store I damn near made an impulse buy. But then when my wife saw it she would have demanded one for herself. Lol

No, you pull your phone out of your pocket to see the time.

Everyone knows that.

I am so old-fashioned that I use a Mechanical pocket watch to tell time. And if we have an EMP event I am set to to go.

LOL

I really like mine, especially the sapphire glass face. I have had it for almost a year and while the stainless steel parts show some minor scratches the glass is perfect. The best feature for me is the ability to quickly see an incoming call or text and decide to address it immediately or later. The map function is my second favorite.

Same here. I have two watches and both were purchased before 1985 and both work fine. I paid 795 dollars for the Rolex stainless Submariner and 1200 for the Rolex Daytona two tone.

A new Submariner runs around 8 thousand and a new Daytona around 13,000. What does a used smart watch run?

And will knowing the right time matter if nobody else has the right time? ;-)

Good one, (chuckle). And no, it won’t matter a bit.

Does anybody really know what time it is,
Does anyone really care?

Is so, I can’t imagine why.

We’ve all got time enough to cry.

I don’t think it’s a good sign if the hot chick is looking for the time—because she really cares about it!

Unless she wants to make time.

I’d make time for that.
