“Trump did not get a single delegate elected in Washington. This is since Manafort came on board. Same could happen in Colorado.”
But I guarantee Manifold and Stoney are getting PAID.
In 2 weeks, when Trump sweeps NY and the New England States, and Cruz is shown to be only a spoiler, that view will change again.
He is suppose to be a viable candidate is he not?
True! I tend to forget him. Probably shouldn’t.
True and Cruz will finish 3rd.
With the media and uni-party attacks I wouldn’t doubt that folks may be starting to doubt.
But then again NY is full steam ahead!
Go Trump Go!
talk about trying to drive numbers around the block
the article says, Trump was at 87% - and in three weeks has dropped to 77%. (drop of 10%). But rather than saying that, the author jumps from “all republicans” to “all voters” to contrast to a much lower percentage.
At this point, ‘all voters’ doesn’t matter. What does matter is the 77%. Add to that the ‘republican-leaning’ who will cross over against Hillary when Bernie loses the Dem nom and the picture becomes a lot clearer.
After the NY Primaries...
Even a neophyte political observer can write that story. Heckler, it was written after Ohio.
It’s trumps home state.
It votes liberals, even socially and fiscally liberal republicans into office.
Trump has led NY in the polls for x number of months.
A good and needed win for a flagging campaign
Etc...
Calling it a shift in momentum is like saying that the home team gets a shift in momentum by batting last.
Imagine if Texas held their primary right after NY. I think it would be a huge reach to say that Texas shifted the momentum in Cruz’ favor.
Trump may not be the GOP nominee (and I’m not so sure he will be), but if Trump goes 3rd party, I go with him.
The GOP doesn’t want the front runner? The GOP doesn’t want Trump? Then the GOP doesn’t want me.
