For some odd reason, this whole topic keeps coming up about every five to ten years. People seem to just not grasp that several thousand Americans now (used to be alot more) are born via military parents at overseas locations. Everyone seems to want to reinvent the discussion and carry it to some other level....when there’s just not much to talk about.

The whole issue is so insane because insanity now rules the mind of so many people. People can no longer leave law the way it is. They have to change it to their liking. First they say children born to American citizens on official duty overseas on U.S. territory are natural born citizens. Then they loosen it some more to children born to American citizens on official duty anywhere overseas are natural born citizens. Then they drop the official duty requirement. Then it degenerates to having been born to only one U.S. citizen parent anywhere in the world. Do we not have enough natural born U.S. citizens in this country that we have to go around making up excuses to violate the Constitution to find a president? Give me a break. It is absurd. Why can't we live within the law anymore, the law that says to be president you have to be born on U.S. soil to two U.S. citizen parents?
