One of the really sordid and sad chapters in our history. The Tet Offensive wrecked the N Vietnamese armed forces but Walter Cronkite announced that the offensive was a failure. The Demos jumped on that statement and ran with it until we did lose. They had nothing left. Nothing.

Cronkite was a mess.
