“Hate to think how much muscle mass you lost without protein.”

There is protein in kale and spinach (and peas and beans ...), but you have to eat a lot of it to get your RDV.

The article says she lost the first 70 pounds by exercising and then she began to diet more.

I have female friends who’ve done this. Cross-fit, etc. They can’t seem to escape the Al Sharpton effect where their head and face is out of proportion with their new body.

Most weight loss was from what she ate; I will take note.

weights
build the muscle because the muscle eats the calories. Running is not enough...weight lifting works. When I started building my muscles at 70 yo, i started losing the weight.

I'm skeptical, at least of the "after" pictures. A woman the size of the "before" would have a lot of excess skin. While the fat may disappear with exercise, the skin doesn't. Yet the "after" is as taut as a drumhead.

More power to her for losing the weight. But I suspect the pictures have been touched up.

you know, either way she looks 1000 times better than when she started. Every human on earth looks better if they eat right and exercise. Nobody looks attractive at 450 pounds.

Keeping it off is infinitely more difficult than losing it.

Let’s see how she looks in ten years.

Its the amino acids you need that make up protein so in effect, you lose none of the amino acids. I also added 25 grams a day of protein powder a day so that’s the same as a 12 oz steak

True. She looks great but I think this pic was altered. That gap between her thighs looks unreal.
