VZ stuck me with yahoo and my wifi though provided by VZ is usually provided by another more anonymous server.
I t was all whacked out!!

I managed to find and open the hosts file. How do I find FR’s IP address?

I got it by typing ‘Free Republic IP address’ into Google, when I couldn’t access FR or the Yahoo group. It comes right up in the first few results.

I am on Verizon Wireless Jetpack. I have 18 gigabytes currently. I tried to log on to FR this morning and had a message that Safari could not access site. I tried several times then went about my business. When I came back, no problem logging on and I looked for a lapse in time where no one posted anything, but while it looked like there was not as much activity as usual, there was continuous movement on this site. Don’t know who what or why, but when was this morning EST.
