It is all utter hogwash. Cruz isn’t anywhere stupid enough to run for office with anything like that in his background. It is the liberal (candidates who are liberal running as R’s) goto card (when race is ineffective).
Not stupid enough? Is a matter of arrogance. And there is a line out the door of politicians who do exactly that,run with something in the background.
