BINGO. They’ve had articles and studies that pointed out that there is no net benefit for having Hollywood and more often than not they lose money. They’ve had fraud also with tax credit where a company makes a crappy movie just to get tax credits which they then pocket the money or sell the tax credits to others.

Don’t need the studies. I was in Hollywood in the lat 70’s when all the tax/credit scams started. Actually, the Hollywood financiers stole the idea from the scammers in Canada : )
