There are different religious practices.

Catholics don’t require conversion but do insist that children be raised Catholic.

Other Christians, I think, don’t give damn.
Judaism and Islam require conversion.

Not Catholic I care very much that my children marry a Christian and that my grandchildren are raised Christian You would not find a pastor in my denomination willing to marry a Chriatian to a nonchristian
