I watched CNN that day, and they did say that Carson was going home...that it looked like he was quitting. CNN’s senior reporter tweeted that he was out of the race. What’s funny is that I watched CNN afterwards and they denied they ever said a word about it! Liars. I saw them!
A few days later, I read comments from a poll worker in Iowa, and she said they never got a message from the Cruz campaign workers that Carson was quitting, so no votes were lost for Carson.
There were 1,700 plus Iowa precincts some may not have gotten the word, but Amanda Carpenter sure tweeted about it.

You sir, are grossly misinformed or are a LIAR! Your statement above is completely FALSE. You NEVER saw them say what you claim, because it DID NOT HAPPEN!
I read the original reporters tweet and it said no such thing. I saw the original CNN report referencing their reporters tweet and they said no such thing. I saw a CNN special report covering the issue that they were being blamed for saying Carson was getting out where they showed the relevant tweet and replayed the original on air report PROVING that they had none no such thing.
So I say again, you are grossly misinformed or purposely LYING.
There were also freepers caucusing in Iowa who report they heard nothing and saw no notification about Carson dropping out.
