JOHN KASICH: Here are 5 ways Donald Trump proved he shouldn't be president in the past 24 hours
Business Insider ^ | 3/31/2016 | Allan Smith

1. His abortion comments

Kasich said that Trump's abortions comments are "putting women in a very difficult position." He also said that presidents don't get do-overs.

2. His refusal to rule out using nuclear weapons

"He actually talked about the use of nuclear weapons, both in the Middle East and in Europe," Kasich said. "You wonder about his hand or his thumb getting any closer to the critical button that presidents are in charge of."

3. His stance on torture

"He says that we should basically abolish the Geneva Conventions, which was created to make sure we had fair treatment for anybody who was captured in war," Kasich said. "And somehow we ought to abolish the Geneva Conventions and engage in, I guess, more torture."

4. His stance on NATO

"He's called on NATO to basically be abolished," Kasich said.

"Although I can't figure out what his position is today," he added.

5. His expectations from a potential Supreme Court justice

"I don't even know how he went there," Kasich said. "Donald Trump suggested that any Supreme Court justice must make a commitment to investigate and review Hillary's emails. That, I don't even know how you do that. That's something I can't even figure out."

NATO is obsolete. The enemy is no longer the Soviet Union, and NATO was last used to attack Libya, which had not attacked us. Why should we pay 72% of the cost of an obsolete organization and be committed to the defense of countries who won’t lift a finger to defend themselves? Those days are over.

Nuclear response is certainly required depending on the act of terrorism acted in against us. Otherwise, the cycle will never end.

Trump answered a hypothetical question about abortion, in which an illegal act would certainly require punishment. Otherwise, what is the purpose of law? A woman kills a one day old child—do we not punish her? Right now a woman can kill a viable child the day before its birth and no punishment. You tell me which is morally correct.

As for torture, the Geneva Convention has not protected one American soldier in any conflict since we agreed to it in 1947. Our soldiers have routinely been tortured, starved, raped, maimed, or killed in every conflict since 1945 as POWs. Waaterboarding is benign compared to the slitting of throats, crucifixion, beheadings, drownings and the throwing off of tall buildings like our enemies do today.

Son of Mailman thinks we can all sit in a drum circle and sing “Kumbaya, My Lord”, and peace will descend like a dove.

Like the leftist liberal he is.

For all those who may require a safe space after reading the above, I don’t care.

Trump may be wrong on a few things, we’ll fix it. Kasich is wrong on everything, and it’s not fixable.

“The Trump/Cruz dream-ticket died long ago. “

That’s too bad, that would have energized a Yuge amount of people.

But Kasich as VP, will guarantee OH, which is a MUST WIN.

So even though Kasich is practically a dem, it makes sense, if victory is the goal.

Now all those saying Trump wasn’t a Conservative have got proof positive he is.

Ask a hypothetical “if abortions were illegal wouid you prosecute women who had an abortion”?

Being a rookie politician he answered an hypothetical.

Trump never said he would change a law that has been the law since 1978.

Trump said he would enforce the law if it were so. Isn’t that what we want, we have laws Obama won’t enforce, or even in some cases obey.

Trump Proved he is conservative, and he ain’t pro abortion.

Note to Trump, why go on Matthews Show? He just energized the braindead Dems into thinking you want to change the freakin abortion law.

My opinion, if Libs want to abort their babies, as long as I don’t pay for the abortions with my taxes, its OK.

After all the less Libs there are the Freer we are from their Tyranny.

1. Abortion issue: He shouldn’t be playing paddy-cake with Sissy Matthews and answering hypotheticals. Unforced error.
2. I personally don’t see any drawbacks to turning Mecca and Medina into a sea of glass.
3. Torture? If it was my daughters or grandsons, I would be pulling out fingernails and chopping off toes and fingers.
4. Stance on NATO is basically a libertarian position which I agree with. I have long believed if we are in NATO, that those protected would pay their fair share.
5. Unforced error. Trump needs to be precise in his answers. He should have separated his answers as to Justice Dept. and the Supreme Court. Attorney General should be investigating Clinton.
Perception is important. Trump needs to clarify his positions more precisely and Ka-sick needs to shut up and get out of the race.

Here is one (1) reason that Kasich shouldn't be President:

1) Any FReeper, Hillary Clinton, Bernie Sanders and Kim Kardashian have the same mathematical chance of winning the Republican nomination on the first ballot as Kasich does.

Just go away, you loser. You can't win the nomination Kay-sick. You've won exactly one (1) state, your home state. Drop out already.
