The question was asked based on if it became against the law to have an abortion. Punishment makes sense when one breaks the law. Kasich and Cruz are bought abd paid for.

One could criminalize performing abortions without criminalizing seeking an abortion. Criminalizing performing abortions (and persuading/coercing others to have an abortion) would be a big step forward from where we are now.

Well, Trump had the balls to be interviewed by Matthews. He was badgered into answering a question, and he answered bluntly based on the parameters of the question (i.e., if abortion was illegal, then, logically, there would need to be a punishment.). I mean, if you have laws without consequences, then you do not have laws.

Anyway, by contrast, Hillary would not allow herself to be interviewed by anyone who would ask her a question tougher than, "how is your grandchild?" I know that the establishment wants to crucify Trump over this, but this is another one of those 'out of context' controversies that the MSM wants to squeeze into a sound byte for maximum Trump damage - nothing more.
